HOME started out as Relentless Unstoppable Human Machine (RUHM), previewing in January 2018 at Pontio, Bangor in Wales, and premiering at the Roundhouse Circus Festival in April 2018. The show was later restaged at Brighton Dome as HOME as the alternative Christmas production.
Exhilarating and enchanting, with a sculptural animated set and absorbing live score, HOME delves into the fantastical lives of two fated neighbours who, in the course of a day’s misadventures, discover surprising new connections with each other and the world outside.
Featuring vertical-swinging trapeze, never-ending ropes, a spinning kingpole carousel, and a very temperamental staircase, HOME presents a playful, poignant tale about the futility of grand plans, and the joys of letting go.
