Learning & Participation

Pirates of the Carabina are committed to broadening the audience for circus. We operate an exciting programme of training and workshop activities to accompany our performances, as well as running an ongoing mentoring and training programme for circus students.

We welcome all opportunities to discuss how POTC can enhance our visits to venues in partnership with local service providers, particularly those working with families, adults at risk, displaced communities and people traditionally excluded from the arts.

To accompany our shows, we offer bookers and local community groups a range of enrichment activities for all ages to support audience engagement. These include:

  • Learn How to Fly sessions
  • The Flying lesson (action based physics)
  • Pre-/Post-show talks
  • Q&As / Meet & Greets
  • General Circus Skills
  • Aerial Masterclasses

Our education and creative learning work is well-regarded throughout the UK, and as a company we are committed to supporting the continued development of a diverse, technically skilled circus community.

We offer a rich programme of activities for schools (KS1-KS3) and young adults. See our range of offers.
